Winners announced
By the Lincoln Journal Star

Eight co-workers at Cook’s food processing plant will share the biggest Powerball jackpot in history.

The winners and their ages are Quang Dao, 56; David Gehle, 53; Alain Maboussou, 26; Chastity Rutjens, 29; Robert Stewart, 30; Michael Terpstra, 47; Dung Tran, 34; and Eric Zornes, 40.

Their names were announced by Gov. Dave Heineman at a press conference Wednesday morning at The Cornhusker in downtown Lincoln.

Tran bought the winning ticket for his co-workers, who work second and third shifts at the plant.

The winners have chosen the cash option and will take the money in one lump sum. The cash option is $177.3 million, or $124.1 million after taxes.

Each winners receives $22 million, which will amount to $15.5 million after taxes are withheld.
So how many Runzas will that buy! \:D

I can see it now...

Nebraska Cornhusker head football coach Bill Callahan, in a joint statement issued with athletic director Steve Pederson, have announced the renaming of the football complex as the "Quang Dao, Tom and Nancy Osborne" football facility.

Boy are they going to be sorry they revealed their names!

I think the food processing plant will be hiring if anyone is looking for a job.

I can just see the owner. "Way to go Tran!" $#%$&^*&

I think that I have just found my long lost relatives Quang Dao and Dung Tran.

Many of you don't know, but in addition to being 100% Indian, I am also 50% Vietnamese and 30% Korean.

Dr Frankenbruce offers sound medical advice:

Brettski, If you follow this diet you're as good as dead. Next time you go to Tractor Supply Company I'd see if they have a home defib machine.
(male)Nurse, Theo, adds:

They should be in between the arc welders and the air compressors.

My only local option would be Farm & Fleet; I stopped by during lunch. The only thing I could find between the arc welders and the air compressors was nuts. When I finally did find the Defib units, they were next to the bloodless castrators. Is it possible that they were moved?

"(male)Nurse, Theo" ?

Couldn't you just call me Igor?

Well if it's gonna happen I think it should be bloodless don't you? Wait, is that where they tie them off and wait for them to shrivel? My God that would have to hurt!

Hey Bruce,

I think you wasted your money on dental school. All you had had to do was work for a meat processing plant in the area to have a great future.

You really need to plan your life better! ;\)

Igor, baby, let's face it...a mad doctor's assistant doesn't promise a bright future! We have much bigger plans for you. The "male nurse" is just a little thing to spruce up your resume. Really beb, think about it... "Mad Doctor's Assistants Wanted" just doesn't come jumping out of Monster.com, now does it? Come here, you nut...now we ALL know that the good Dr Frankenbruce will always have a special place in his heart for you. Work with me here...I'm only thinking of what's best for you. ;\)

Man, Dwight, I'm ashamed to say I haven't even been to my pond since Late Oct. '05 (and I'm only 52 miles away from it).

There's no excuse.

Sunil, my friend, you need to drive over there and sit in your truck and just look over your pond in awe of what it is! \:\)
