Ponds :

I think they are printed/mailed in the NE. Sunil gets his 10 -12 days before me !! Brettski if it does not get there in a couple days call the PB office and check on it -- your mailman may like ponds and read slowly. ;\)

They mag is printed and bound in State College, PA. (Penn State, or State Penn).

I'm 2.5 hours from there, plus I don't think my mailman likes to fish.

How 'bout that article on the Bryozoans?

Everyone should have received PB by now. If you haven't, please call the office and talk with Kathy. 800.687.6075. She'll send another, today.

3 wks from supposed shipment date. I had one sent from Sadler, then got one yesterday in mail. Too wide spread for mail service issues. Bob, suggest you check into the problem.

Yeah, If I hadn't already gotten my Playboy, Hustler, Qui, and Penthouse, I would be suspicious of my mailman.

Burgermeister, it was mailed January 12, way past when we normally do it. 18 days does seem like way too long to suit me.
The problem is that we mail from one mailhouse, at bulk rates. The best idea is to get the magazine out ahead of schedule, and then mailing won't be such a headache. I just finished editing and writing the words for March/April, they have gone to layout. If we can get layout done in two weeks, then print it the next, we can mail it by Feb 22, and everyone should be able to get their copies by March 8 or 10. Much more acceptable. If we change mailhouses, someone else gets theirs late. If it ain't one thing, it's another. All the fun of being in the magazine business.

No real complaints here, Bob, just when Sunil says he gets his on the 8th or so. I think he goes by the bulk mail facility and picks it up. Next week he will probably be gloating again. Go Seahawks.(or Steelers). ;\)

Sunil is a jerk!

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Hey, I got mine a week ago. Just didn't want you guys to feel bad. Also, I didn't want Sunil to be able to count the days and gloat. I've thought about driving to Whitesboro, getting a copy as soon as it is printed and telling Sunil what's in it.

So harsh!

It's no fun to get the mag early. You can't talk to anyone about it until everyone gets it.

BurgerM may have nailed me down though.

Ross,

I still haven't received mine either. I will be making the "call" on Monday morning. This will be also, two issues in a row, that I have had to call it in.

Bob,

I think there is something going on, maybe a database problem or something else that is not getting some subscibers on the mailing list for the publishing house.

Please, everyone who hasn't gotten your issue, call Kathy and tell her your story. I'll instruct her to call the mail house. If this has happened more than once, tell her. That will be helpful.
