Well, as I feel it's my duty to inform you (I mean rub it in), the new Pond Boss Mag arrived today in Pittsburgh, PA.

Typically, I like to refrain from posting anything about content, however, I would like to say that this issue is heavy on content.

So for those of you who are U.S. Mail Challenged (not to be confused with U.S.M.C.), stop dicking your mail carrier and maybe he/she will deliver it for you sooner!

I suppose I might have got mine yesterday as well, Sunil - if we'd gotten any mail at all. I was expecting a check, but we got zilch. My wife called the post office and was informed the "lost mail is not the Post Office's problem."

I just thought I was PO'd (post officed) before, now I gotta worry who got my issue of PB!

Sunil always gets his copy 10 days+- before I get mine. That is because my mailman reads slower than his. \:D Theo don't worry you will see your copy when you go to the Dr. or dentist if it is still there.

I look forward to this issue because we can now (in a few days) go back and delve into the gravel for BG beds matter and get the whole story. Look in the questions from the readers section , I think. \:\)

Sorry Ric! Did you give your mail carrier a fruit cake for Xmas?!

My mailman couldn't find my mailbox with a metal dector. I live in nice subdivision in the city and have only meet 2 neighbors in 4 years (this anti- social behavior serves me well when I go to the farm). So when my mail is not accidently shoved into my mailbox, it's history. Maybe I'll get lucky and find it when I rumage thru their trash. ;\) ;\)

In a truly surprise move, my Jan/Feb issue of Pond Boss actually was delivered today. Now, far be it from me to gloat. However, I usually get my copy about 3 weeks after everyone has already received theirs! I greatly enjoyed the article on stocking various trout species and hybrids in western waters.

Dave :

Your mailman just reads faster than ours. I am looking forward to several matters which I think will be in this issue. \:\)

It would be good to post about some of them but that depends on more of the forum readers taking the mag. Forum members need to subscribe so they can join in the discussion of mag. topics.

I take it you did get your Jelly of the Month subscription though, Theo?

It's the gift that keeps on giving the whole year through.

Still don't have mine in Southern Illinois. Isn't the difference in delivery times amazing?

When Theocity mentioned not getting his paycheck, I was reminded of Chevy Chase's Christmas Vacation flick when he was waiting for his year-end bonus to come.

Magazine got here yesterday. Really good issue. Especially liked the trout photos. All the content was excellent. Pond Boss is actually getting me interested in doing some thing to improve the condition of my whitetails. I've got lots of them, but the quality just isn't there.

BM- Something is wrong. I ordered my subscription on 1-6 and received the Nov/Dec issue two days later. Maybe you need to contact them.

Still not here yet. Either slow mail or mailman is a slow reader or both. \:\(

As all can see if this many of us are waiting and watching the mail there must be something really special about the PB mag. -- and there is!!!

Frank, me too. We got the words ready, photos on time, but it took much longer than normal to lay it out. It was mailed Jan 12, from State College, PA.
It hasn't made it to Texas yet, either.

I'm excited. So's Otto and Davidson. 30 people. Who'd a thunk it?
