I am about to build a new house and have several excavators really wanting to do the work.
There was one that really stood out though and got the job. When he was bidding the dirt work for my basement he noticed the small silted in pond that will be right behind my house. He gave me his bid on the basement ( 2nd lowest bid I got ) and then told me he would also clean the pond out for free if awarded the work. He got it! He cleaned the pond out last week and enlarged it from 1/10 to 1/4 acre. Did a really good job too!

He has already been told he can fish my big pond....and take all the crappie he wants! This new pond will be my new forage pond to replace the one that was contaminated with LMB and Crappie.
