This was on our game-cam March 1. I assumed it was a yote, but some buddy of mine says the tail doesn't look like a Yote and it could be a fox.I still say coyote. What do you guys think? Also see the eyes in background of another animal.

Coyote, is my guess.

"She took another microscopic bite of her sandwich, then pushed it away. Maybe she absorbed nutrients from her surroundings."

Frequently, the coyotes I see at this time of year have luxurious, thick coats and splendid bushy tails.

However, as soon as it heats up they start shedding their winter coats and will look mangy. But I think that is just them shedding, after a spring time of eating easy pickings they soon will look sleek and healthy.

I remember as a kid we were camping for boy scouts and a couple guys thought it would be funny to trying lighting their farts on fire with a cigarette lighter. One of them ended up rolling around on the ground in pain when he got one lit and it singed his man parts. It looks like maybe the front coyote did the same thing to his tail. Definitely a pair of coyotes though.

Gotta be a song dog but the ones around my place don’t have as much tail. But, the size says coyote. Not a Fox.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

My vote goes for Coyote. Fox are built a little bit differently - more thin for one. A Red Fox has black socks too.
