Looking for a Excavator in the Kansas City area to dig out some of my muck. It's a neighborhood pond, no place to put it so will need to be hauled off wet. I know this probably limits my choices. Draining and drying would take a long long time as it's basically a storm water pond as well. Thanks

Welcome to the forum! How big is the pond? Is there a place to put a dewatering bag? If so, then a dredge could be used, the water would run back into the pond and then the dirt could be hauled off in a few months after the water is mostly gone from it. Hauling wet slop probably cannot be done because nothing from the trucks is supposed to fall onto the roads.

Try calling these guys to see if there's one in your area: https://www.envirodredge.com/

Thank You. I have about an acre lot against the pond, I was hoping to find someone with sealed trucks to avoid ugliness. Not sure which is worse, stacks of muck or dewatering bags.

Try James Robertson custom dozing.
He is in knob noster, but I am pretty sure he does work in Kc. He built my pond, and I know he does demucking also, really an upstanding and very fair guy, I highly recommend him
