With the drought again this summer the fish spawning beds are beginning to show up only this year they appear to be larger than I previously observed. Some almost two feet across. Seeing as nobody has ventured a guess yet, I'm guessing Bluegills.

Those are definitely the aquatic equivalent of crop circles.
I am not saying it was aliens, but it was aliens!
(Or perhaps BG. Are your CNBG getting significantly bigger? I think at some point that would show up in the nest sizes.)

Sunfish, perhaps bass, bluegills, redears, etc.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

I heard those do well in New Mexico ponds. Do you think the Roswell subspecies would thrive in Texas ponds?
