If your SMB are 7-9" you could potentially have some reproduction but recruits to yr 1 may be a different story, I "think" we may have discussed this on the phone. If you have a good number of WAE and SMB, I don't think your YP will become a problem, but never say never. WT of 55 and post spawn YP and pre spawn SMB are fairly active and chasing food. Favorite lure for me is a 1/32oz beetlespin with black body for 4-8" SMB. 2.75-3.75" swim bait with 1/16-1/8oz head is by far my killer on WAE right at sundown and for about 20-30 min after. expect to possibly catch a HSB on the swimbait as well.
