My helpful golden retriever jumped in the pond and brought this dead LMB to me. It was 18" and 3.72 lbs. It looks like some sort of infection or iinflammation. I just want to make sure it isn't something that will spread.

Opened for me also. looks like stress from spawning. Anything on the fish somewhere else ?

Nothing else on the fish. Based on where it was, I suspected that it had to do with spawning.
