Today I noticed 2 closely packed schools of fry, a few hundred fish <1" in size. Pond was stocked with BG/redear, channel cats 1.5yrs ago, and LMB 1 yr ago. It also contains fathead minnows and mosquito fish, Gambusia sp. Pond temps have been in the 60's past month. I think it is too early for the cats and BG to spawn. Trying to confirm successful LMB spawn. Anybody have any thoughts? Sarc

Use a small minnow net and net a few and take a look. Easy to see what you have then.
