I've started to monitor water loss again and it's loosing a little more than it was this past fall. It was loosing about 1/4 inches a day now it's loosing 3/8 to a half inche a day.
Does this indicate that it will keep getting worse?
Also I would like to have a expert come out and evaluate and make recomendations for my pond, does anyone know of any company or person in the Lexington, KY area that specailizes in this sort of thing?

I really depends on what air temperature, wind and humidity you are comparing to from last fall. All 3 can make a major difference in water loss. Take a 5 gallon bucket put some rocks in it and place it in the pond with the rim about 2 inches above the surface. Fill it with water at the same level in the bucket as in the pond. Monitor it for several days and you will see what your actualy leakage rate is compared to evaporation rate.
