I went fishing at a couple of public ponds near Asheville, NC this weekend.
They are both about 3 acres give or take.
Anyway they are totally infested with bad water quality and aquatic vegitation.
I think the vegitation is a some ludwegia and elodea.
It has certainly made for bad fishing.

I also saw some small turtles and I'm sure that can't be good for fish.

The fish population looked like it was a bunch of 5" or less sunfish, some Northern hog suckers and a few bass 7-14".
Nothing impressive.
