Saturday (16th) I'll be picking up HSB & Tilapia from Todd Overton along with a few Coppernose Bgill, Channel cats, Fatheads, and the Dreaded & feared Black Crappie...if he has them. Seems the Blue Cats are already gone with questions about future supplies. Is anyone else finding the Blue Cat hard to find ?

What size HSB are you getting? I could only get 3 to 5's and wound up having to put a bunch in a growout pond.

ML, same size here. I only have 31 adult bass in my 3.5 acre pond, they are the only predators and the forage base was set in motion fall of 2003, I'm hoping for a high survival rate. I would like to buy more...but they are running about $1.75 each. Would like to get Bruce C's price of .20 cents a head, but that's another story and what would I do with 1000 ?  Make skinny fish ? hahahah.

Eastland and ML,
I don’t want to speak out of turn for Todd, but he recently mentioned to me that he plans to stock several thousand ”Bruce C’s” size HSB in one of his larger ponds, and grow them out, to meet the increased demand for larger size HSB supplemental stockers.

Yes, Todd gave me a similar indication and I told him I would buy several this fall if he can get them up close to a pound.

Small world.........sorry it was me that scarffed up the last of Tod's blue cats........order 250 only got 125...........but what I've read about them perhaps it was for the best.

There is a guy out of South Carolina who has an execlent strain of blue cats...very hardy!!
