Would it be worth it to put a wetland/bog area along the edge of a pond to capture runoff and filter nutrients out?
Say for a small pond less than 1 acre?

If you decide to try this look at vetiver, a grass. It is a great filter, is non evasive and establishes quickly.

I will be interested to see any responses to this. For the past 3 days I have been reading about establishing wetland habitat for 1)nutrient sequestration (Nitrogen and Phos) and 2) Shoreline stablization. My pond has issues with both.
