i noticed when i got to lake ths morning sometimes it seemed like i could smell fish.is this possible and if so what would cause this problem.this lake is 3 years old and about 6.15 acres.

196lake. What you smelled may not be a problem. If you smelled rotting fish and you saw dead fish you may need professional help to determine the cause. However in our ponds you can smell a musty oder in and around BG/RE spawning beds during the spawn. I note that your La. location probably means water temps. over 60 degrees and the date of your post 3-26-05 is around the full moon in March , often the first spawn of the year .I hope this helps
