Our pond has always had a decent amount of run off into because when it was built the bulk of what was dug out went into a hill on the other side of the property. So basically, most of the property drains that direction. Last year we had septic work done and now have a large mound plus I added elevation to the yard. Because of spring rains there are several gullies from water racing down. Here's my question... is it possible to use water from the pond to create a small stream as a water feature (because rain only will allow it to be dry more than not)? Doesn't necessarily have to flow constantly, but when I want it to for aesthetics or for the kids to create alongside of it. I don't use any fertilizers or anything in the yard. Is this bad for any reason? What products can I use to create a pump for this never ending type of thing?
