Hello.

Some picture of my preparation for the Yellow-perch larvae.

Before I used the ribbon, but this year I will pump the larvae.

azteca - Thanks a lot for sharing your creative perch raising project. A couple questions please.
1. Length and width of that small pond?. I assume it is only about 2-3ft deep? It is impressive what you can do in that little pond that anyone could have one that size.

2. How big are small perch when you move then out of that pond?

3. Approximately how many small perch do you often produce each spring in that pond??

Thanks for being a PB Forum Member.

Hello.

This little pond is 5'x40'.

I put about 500 to 600 larvae, last year around July I had about 450 fry at 3/4" to 1", in July I transfer most of them in the pond, I only keep 100to150 fry until September they are about 3"and+.

Hello.

The pump works, I wanted to try, so it's done.

Now in the little pond I continue to use ribbons it's simpler.

So yesterday May 4, I saw the first larvae under the light, I also saw a lot of zooplankton.
