Our 2 acre pond has a stunted population of largemouth bass, literally hundreds of them, there are also crappie and while not as common I don't want them or the bass in the pond. How can I get rid of them without chemicals? I removed 329 LMB in 2018 and 186 in 2019. I've removed a couple hundred in prior years plus a few hundred crappie but there just doesn't seem to be an end in sight. Any ideas?

Seems like you might need to nuke it to get rid of them. You probably won't be able to catch them out completely.

I noticed that the number of LMB harvested decreased in 2019. Was this because you fished less or because of the larger number harvested in 2018? I only ask because it may be evidence that your harvest is working to benefit the fish that still remain. Can you provide an estimate of the gross weight of fish harvested in 2018 and 2019?

I fished less in 2019. However, there were noticably less LMB in the pond. Come fall of 2019 the bass were larger than average, probably because of the reduced numbers.
