Did a little fishing today off the dock for the CNBG. They are sure getting big. I caught seven that were in the 10" long and 1-1/4" thick range. No I didn't weigh any of them. Still don't have a working scale.

Good looking, healthy fish
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Great looking fish, I wish CNBG would do good up north.

Are there any coppernose BG experts out there?? ewest?? From the pictures that I've seen of them your two BG don't look a lot like pure stain coppernose to me. Regardless those are great BG. How old are they? Coppernose are supposed to have a light colored bar across the forehead. Also notice the light coloration pattern on the lower jaw, dentary bone of coppernose individuals below. See these pics of coppernose.

Lance, Mine are hitting the feed as well. My three LMB that eat feed are still eating as well. Water temps are around 50 degrees. It will be interesting to see when those three stop feeding.

Excellent growth for 3 yr old BG. It will be very interesting to see how big they get for you - maybe 12"?

Beautiful fish!! Nice job. And as far as the color...they look very similar to my cnbg I stocked here in my deep east Texas pond.
Dear Alcohol, We had a deal where you would make me funnier, smarter, and a better dancer... I saw the video... We need to talk.
