This is my first post on here. I have a 8 acre pond with a large watershed including two year round streams running into it. The current 3 foot to 2 foot primary spillway pipe has and old school trash rack( upside down bucket style with a handful of quarter size air holes on top. I need to find out if a grid style trash rack with a vortex blocker would move more water through the pipe during major flooding events(water >1 foot above the top of the rack). I can't seem to find spec to compare the two types of trash racks.
