The projected rains this week should start water exiting the siphon overflow. Rains are predicted to be fairly heavy so I may see it go into full siphon mode. I feel like an expectant father waiting to see how the baby is born. This was first siphon builder had put in, but the local NRCS agent oversaw the installation and he has done several before. Hoping for a gusher when it fires up.

Oh so true here.. the excitement is killer-and it IS fun, but I went from expectant Father to wondering who the hell the Father was Mode..
Be patient and don't rush it, you can micro-manage it and second guess issues that don't exist, if you're like me anyway.

Very true on making mountains out of molehills. My first year of pond miestering seen the water level just get to the siphon intake. Had some terracing done and a pipeline from the next draw over, run to the pond and it has filled in about 8 months. I'm patient but the waiting is getting tougher. Boats, docks, muddy water, and plants all need to be dealt with but first I needed to get to full pool. Finally there. At least the fish are in and hopefully doing their thing.
