I've been catching these for years but never knew exactly what they were, my grandfather used to call them "Fly Perch". After doing some research the only fish that I can find that resembles it is the Roanoke Bass. This would make sense as our pond is less than 2 miles from the Roanoke River. If anyone has any idea if this is in fact, a Roanoke Bass I'd be very curious to know. Thanks -Eric
