Did I little careful ice checking, found I had ~ 4 inches of decent ice. So of course, I had to wet a line. Happy to say I had a few customers. They were taking crappie nibbles (chartreuse color) on a tungsten tear drop jig. I didn't have any minnows or waxies on hand..yet. My 'helper'..

It was a super mild day for sure! Makes those late January/early February outings seem pretty brutal in comparison.
