I am looking to construct a 2.5 acre pond at my property near Chattanooga, TN. Does anyone have a contractor they suggest that would work in this area?

Drive around the area and look for ponds. Stop and ask who did it. Ask what they might have done different and what they really like about it. Ask if they would use the same dozer guy again.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Also, it's common for the Natural Resources Conservation Service in the USDA building to keep a list of earthmoving contractors. You can also talk to Michael Gray over near Nashville. I'd bet he knows someone over near you. www.grayconstruction.net
