Getting a little worried. 2 acre pond but down over 3 foot. Got 2 inches of rain. Visibility was about 14 inch. Now about 6-8 inch. Water temp today was still 91 surface. aeriation runs 24 hours a day.Lmb seem to be feeding heavy on the cnbg when feeder goes off but the cnbg are feeding like the water is 50 degrees. Food is actually floating to the shore not getting eaton by the thousands and thousands of fish in the pond. It has been like this for about a week now. No dead fish anywhere. Maybe it is just a visibility problem. Any ideas?? I have backed way off on the feed.

Flame, I would completely cut off feeders for a period until water cools off.

I would lean more toward it being visibility than water temp Al. My pond has seen weeks of 91* surface temps and it didn't severely affect the way my fish fed. Some days were a little off, but weather conditions can contribute to that.

If you can hand feed for a while, only throwing what they'll eat in 15-20 minutes until the clarity returns or their feeding picks up, that's what I'd do.

.10 surface acre pond, 10.5 foot deep. SW LA. The epitome of a mutt pond. BG, LMB, GSF, RES, BH, Warmouth, Longear Sunfish, Gambusia,Mud Minnows, Crappie, and now shiners!!...I subscribe!!
