Hi all. New to the forums here. Just purchased a parcel with a pond just shy of an acre. Just wanted to make sure it would be ok to use these cut down trees as cover close to the spawning grounds .

Sure, use them. I would focus on the 0 to 2' depth for the best fry protection. How tall are they, you may be able to cut them into sections and make denser brush piles close to the bank.

Great. That is what I will do. I was thinking I could take some of them and plant them in large flower pots with concrete and place them in deaper water for bass cover. (6 to 8ft).
