OP Clay N' Pray C Joined: Dec 2017 Posts: 277 Caswell co NC	No orange tint on the belly. Attached Images Half acre 30 year old farm pond, Mebane NC. Aeration & feeder. LMB, CC, SC, BG, HBC, two no account welfare carp and nine seasonal Tilapia that all the other fish are terrified of.

May be a hybrid. .10 surface acre pond, 10.5 foot deep. SW LA. The epitome of a mutt pond. BG, LMB, GSF, RES, BH, Warmouth, Longear Sunfish, Gambusia,Mud Minnows, Crappie, and now shiners!!...I subscribe!!

snrub S Joined: Oct 2013 Posts: 6,088 Likes: 96 SE Kansas	I have looked at the pictures numerous times and I am unsure. It looks like a RES but if it is the orange/red border is sure subdued. And if it is not RES it must be BG but the overall look looks like a RES. If it is a hybrid I would say it definitely would be RESxBG as I see no GSF influence at all. I hope some of the experts chime in on the characteristics they see and what they think it is. I can't tell. Edit: If I had to put money on it, I would bet RES................ or maybe hybrid RESxBG.
