Actually an old pond that has been dry and will be filled by end of the year...about 2 acres. . Then forage fish. Likely get those in early March.
I plan to wait a month to stock LMB. What size LMB should I stock with? Seems to me that something bigger than fingerlings would make a better (faster) start and and even though they cost more bigger fish would have better survivability...so 6- 8 inch fish if I can get them...

I would wait at least til the forage gets a few spawns off before adding LMB. They really can eat a lot of forage. A year would be better unless you are adding spawning size forage. What are you planning to add as forage?
