Hello,
I have a 3/4 acre pond well aerated. Gets some fertilizer runoff from neighbors. Had an algae bloom this spring. Filamentous Algae. Im getting under control now but was looking into phosphate reducers. Don't necessarily want to use the aluminum sulfate. I came across "Natural Phosphate Binder" from Easy Pro. Appears to have calcium and magnesium to bind phosphate. Has anyone tried this?? Any success??

Thanks for the reply. Interesting article think I need to test my water. I should add I don't have any problem with phytoplankton bloom my water clarity is very poor currently.
