Unsure of what this is. Doesn't have an odor and is rapidly growing along the bank no deeper than 4-5 ft.

I'm no expert, but if it has no odor perhaps it is nitella. May well do more good than harm.

Definitely tough to tell. I’ve been researching it and it might also be southern naiad. Don’t have a clue really but I guess Chara can be eliminated because of the lack of odor.
