Have been catching crappie in shallow water lately, both males and females. Now only catching males, does that indicate the males are guarding the nest and eggs ?

Pat , how are your crappie doing? You think they are spawning this yr? Sounds like you are catching some?

They are going along good I think. They look healthy. Males are black as pitch and aggressive.
