These were in a small pond close to my pond near Lake Conroe TX and wanted to see if someone could help me ID them? I have been told Brim (if someone around here does not know what it is then it is a brim), bluegill (does not look the the CNBG I put in my pond) and red ears but they do not have red?

Also I clearly have not mastered uploading pictures so I hope these come through!!!

I'll take a stab. The first one has plenty of crappy genes in it, maybe black crappie?

The other two have strong vertical bars but appear to be in the bluegill family not the crappie family. Maybe you can post a little larger pictures or someone can help you with that?

My guess

1. RES or RES cross
2. BG/CNBG
3. BG/CNBG

2 and 3 are fuzzy when enlarged. It appears that the top pic below is/has are CNBG scaling on the head/nose bar area, light fin edges and fewer/wider vertical bars. The second pic below is more BG with no light fin/tail edges and more thin vertical bars.

Even with limited pic size, they still look like CNBG to me.
