Hello,
My name is Nancy and I was searching lake contractors in Northern Arkansas and found this forum which looks awesome! We live in Texas and are selling our home and moving to Arkansas. We want to build a lake but we want to make sure we do it right the first time. Need to be educated after the pool fiasco we had because I trusted the contractor. Glad To be here!

Welcome Nancy!
Lots of stuff here in the archives. With the planning you are doing, no doubt your pond project will go better than the pool project!

Dang Nancy, leaving Texas and going to Arkansas. Hard to believe. Step 1. Define your goals.
Step2. See step 1.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

LOL! Love Texas just not the humidity mixed with the heat. I need a little cooler weather in my elder years. Thanks for the input!
