With a few weeks of Ice cover and snow cover on top of that ice here in NE Ohio, we are finally getting somewhat of a melt. I don't have aeration and get nervous during long cold spells with snow cover.. I don't expect the ice that is currently there to completely melt but we are getting a lot of rainfall.

I was wondering if the rainfall that is coming down has any contribution to oxygen levels in the pond?

Obviously some of that rain water will make it through the ice around the edges where the land is warmer and has melted away the ice.
