Hi! Looking to build a small, spring-fed pond on our farm west of Charlottesville, VA. Researching contractors in the area and getting some estimates. Any recommendations?
Thanks! PandB

2 possibilities. Get in touch with the local NRCS office. They often keep a list of people "who say" they build ponds. Problem is that there are no requirements to get on the list. But, it might be a good starting place. Check a lot of references.
Another idea is to drive the area looking for ponds. If you see one, stop and ask: 1. Who built it?. 2. Would they use the guy again.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
