My feeder is on a dock in the shallowest part of the pond. Feed gets thrown in 1.5 to 4 ft of water. The bg and res destroy it. All different sizes. I added some 6-8 inch cc 2 to 3 weeks ago and havent seen one yet. I assumed anything in the pond would eveventualy find the feed but think after a couple weeks the cc shoulda found it by now. I'm wondering if I should move the feeder to a deeper part of the pond. The deepest part is 8 ft. ( 10 at full pool after rain) wih average overall depth 5 ft.

Jack,

IMO there is no need to move the feeder. IME CC that size often just disappear for a while when stocked. Once they get well acclimated and grow a little you will see them start showing up at chow time. Just be patient. May take several weeks.

My CC took almost three months to start aggressively showing up for feed. They didn't show up at all for about two months. Now they boil the water like in a hatchery pond. Since March 4, they have gone from 5-8 inches to about 15 inches and well over 100% relative weight.

What is your water temp? Catfish feed less when the water cools down.

It's low 70s now at my place. East Texas should still be near 80.
