I've made the attached PVC habitat and am wondering if I can still attract the large bass with fewer of the colored pvc branches. My other 5 of these have about half as many colored limbs, so they are more spread out.

The bottom of my 10 acre lake has few features... a result of 25 years of silt and no digging out or habitat/structure being added. The bass are too spread out and hard to catch since they aren't concentrated on structure on the bottom or features. We only catch big ones during the spring when we know they're near the banks and we just cast toward the banks.

The pvc branches get expensive when you're buying 2k-3k feet of them to add to all these structures and I'm hoping I can still attract the large bass (due to small fish coming to this structure) with fewer branches.

I'd greatly appreciate any thoughts on the matter as none of the local biologists can provide a decent answer.
