Was wondering has anyone on here every made a above ground wooden koi/goldfish pond before? if so would love to see some pics and how you did it and setup the filtration! thanks in advance!

As a kid I remember Dad making an above ground rectangular swimming pool out of wood with a plastic liner.
He put the garden hose in it and we went to bed. Sometime in the wee hours of the morning there was a loud noise.....
The wooden structure blew apart, sending water into our and our neighbors basements.......
