My older pond looked just like that two years ago. It looked like there was no way it could leak at that time, but you never know.

Dangit that looks dry! Hope ya get some rain when your ready for it. Real hard to grow fish in that.
Yes sir, I have to agree with the conditions being way too dry and that after we received 0.4 inches of rain but I think we finish just in time before the rain season starts. Now I just have to wait for a good soak so we compact it with the tractor.

Updates after 8"+ of rain! It had been dry when the past month or so that is why some of the clay washed away at the water running point.
