This last Saturday I caught a nice 22 inch LMB out of my pond she hammered my buzz bait. Looked to be in great shape except according to the charts he should have been about 6 pounds and this guy was 5.1. My other bass 15 and 16 inchers have been right on weight wise... Does this mean that size class bass may not have enough of the right size BG to eat I guess? I have only taken about 6 bass out of the pond this year and am going to take about 12 more 14 inches and smaller. Am I on the right track? Could this just been a bass coming off a bed? She looked good otherwise... Here is a pic of her.

The only difference between a rut and a Grave is the depth. So get up get out of that rut and get moving!! Time to work!!
RC, Was her belly floppy and saggy or tight? Just wondering, I've caught sows right after spawning that should've weighed a pound and a quarter more than they actually did. Her belly looked full until you applied pressure to it, then it was all loose...she is a good looking fish otherwise....
Yes Stick it kinda was... and that's about how much she was shy about a pound... I hope it's from spawning... All my other bass have been almost right on Q as far as RW is concerned.
