Will pumping water out of a pond (2 acres) and pumping it back in on the far side of the lake help with aeration?

Any circulation will help, but a gas pump would not be economical, plus you have to refuel.

I don't know why you want to do that but I would pump it back in over a waterfall to maximize any aeration benefit. Adding a venturi would also enhance aeration.

Thanks for the help. I just want to start something until I get the Air Injection Diffuser system completed.

I think the gas pump isn't intended for aeration, but theoretically it must work too.

I think the artificial intelligence behind spambots has improved greatly over the last few years.
