Hi all, been registered here for a few years now and finally looking to get started on my pond project. I started by contacting the Soil and Water Conservation office in my home county (Carroll) here in Ohio, and asked for some guidance. The nice lady there directed me to call the Army Corps of Engineers, and said that they would help me get started on the process. I contacted them and was told that they do not do that, but gave me another Corps of Engineers number to try. No answer at that number, but I left a message. Anyone here from the Stark, Carroll, Columbiana county area in Northeast Ohio, that might be able to point me in the proper direction to get the ball rolling?
Any help is appreciated.

Here in Lorain county they no longer do pond assistance. There site recommends contacting your township regarding their zoning. They also referenced NRCS engineering standards. Rick

Thanks Rick, I finally got a hold of our county's Soil and Water conservationist. He is going to come out next Wednesday.
