Pardon my ignorance, but when do they normally show up? Here, about March 20, normally.

Nice, I put in about a dozen CC in my pond. I keep waiting to see them feed with the BG, but so far nothing.
3/4 Acre South Georgia Pond, 1,500 BG/RES; LMB coming soon
Father, forgive them: for they know not what they do.

My CC have been feeding really well for a few days in a row now. How long to get them fattened back up after a winter of no feeding and an on and off again March? I need to take some out to eat, and avoid a summer kill, but don't want to dress skinny ones. Would ten more days of good feeding be enough?
