One of our existing ponds has really struggled to get a good bloom going. FA is a constant problem. Water conditions are 7.2 pH about 30ppm Before I started fertilizing I zapped the FA really hard with Cutrine plus and it cleared out. Then I added fertilizer at 5# to the acre. I'm just starting to see some bloom but the FA is taking off again. Do I treat FA or let it go until quality bloom sets in and then attempt to treat? I've got aerators running now should I cut them off? Thanks for any help.

I'd recommend getting the hardness up more first, then whacking the FA and not adding any more fertilizer until you see how things go. I think the hardness is limiting the bloom.
