Hi folks, it's been quite a while since I've been on here. Now I'm back and looking for advice.
My pond is 1/3 acre with an average depth of 8 feet and is aerated. 2 years ago I stocked it with FHM and HBG. I've had some recruitment so they weren't all HBG (Southland fisheries). The grandkids are loving it!
I originally wanted this to be a HBG/YP pond but can't locate any YP near me. I'm undecided about whether to add tilapia or HSB to the pond for adult fishing fun. What are your opinions and stocking recommendations?

I'd add HSB and make it a put and take fishery on them. Tilapia aren't the easiest thing to catch in a pond.....

Larry, HBG come in, and produce male and female offspring. About 95% of offspring are male, on average, so there is far less total recruitment from HBG spawns than from regular BG
