Pond Boss Forums STOCKING A NEW POND Creating the food chain Hatchery in Western Georgia / Eastern Alabama?

Good afternoon, I have a one acre pond that sits on land we bought and was stocked with some fish already. We have caught bass and crappie and I have seen minnows in the water.

I am looking for a hatchery in the Western Georgia / Eastern Alabama area where we can purchase minnows and other fish to add to our pond.

Do you have blue gill in your pond? That is almost required to be able to sustain LMB and crappie, both which will eat you out of house and home if you are buying minnows to feed them . One of the experts will come along and help you out. There's plenty of reading to get you going in the right direction

+1 to what Pat said. Find out all you can about what you have already before adding other fish. Farmallsc here on the forum can tell you how important that is.
