I have always thought that stocking FHM/Golden shiners prior to bass was great. I also thought that adding CNBG and have them grow and reproduce prior to preditor fish was important too. I found this from a paper off of Overtons website, and I dont know if this is good info?? "Do not stock adult bluegills before stocking bass, as they will overpopulate, stunt and decrease forage reproduction..."https://www.overtonfisheries.com/Portals/0/Sport%20Fish/03_0304a.pdfany idea about this??

I guess it depends on the #s, and how long you wait to introduce the LMB. I know Bob put about 10% grown CNBG in mine when he stocked it in late February and the LMB in late June.

In southern LMB/BG ponds that is possible but not likely. My preferred method is to stock mostly small BG but add 10-15 % as advanced size 5-6 inch BG also. This really jump starts things. Then a few mths later add LMB fingerlings. I would rather use fewer 6 in LMB rather than 2 inch LMB.

Dustin, that is not my experience. I agree with Eric.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
