Those two make somebody somewhere proud.

That's very common now. I've heard of these "unveiling" events everywhere these days. Seems to be an excuse for the husband to throw a party. I've never heard of needing a permit to shoot tannerite in my county. I'm a bit shocked that the folks of Lincoln Nebraska would require a permit, those are pretty good people. The husband even called the police, in this case, to let them know he was doing it.

It's actually a State permit that is required.

Even more shocking. These binary explosives have not been much of a hazard to anyone over the years. No more than a gas grill or common car anyways. I just haven't heard of much legislation done against the product BUT, like all things fun, it will come.

I am pretty sure the Nebraska State explosive permit was in place long before binary explosives came on the market, but it is one of those things that technically falls under requiring a permit. You can legally buy Tannerite here with out a permit but currently need a permit to legally touch it off. Most folks don't know you need a permit from the NSP to set it off.
