Hello. Im an American citizen living in South America . I'm building a fish pond. gonna stock it with some combination out of: Tilapia, Pacu, Surubi. It's about 1/3 acre surface area and 10 ft deep at deepest part. It's a natural hole/wash at the bottom of some hills that I damned up. Just looking for info along the way and will contribute where I can, but this is all new to me.

Welcome gRider. Where in SA?
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Welcome to PB. You might gather some good basic aquaculture info from SRAC. See these on tilapia. https://srac.tamu.edu/viewCategory/11
