See all of those dead leaves? Today I'll start raking and using the leaf blower to get 5 or 6 bags off the back patio. Then use the lawn mower to bust them up in the lawn.
The best part? Mild weather!

Allen, Interesting thoughts, for you its time to sit back and enjoy, but for me its time to start the next project. Its all about perspective.
Very nice picture. That is a view you can enjoy.

Thanks guys. Not much part of that I can claim. Just a cool moment in time. Only thing moving was a bullfrog and me.
Tony, after the year you've had, yes. A big yes!

Tracy, I did add TP. I also had my first and last experience raising them in the brood pond. I thought I knew, but I really had no clue how volatile the little critters can get when crowded. All totaled, I put in around 400 pounds this year.

Here you go Sunil. My little Nigerian babies had been asking about you. Merle looks like he had a hard night. Either that, or he started without me. Merle and June like watching the CNBG eat, so they're on their feeder walk. Merle's rocking the Rowdy Yates attire, and June's going for the Galleria Diva look. And yes guys, I already know life as I know it is now over. The little rats can live up to 15 years.

Well, I guess our annual micro-fall is over with. We're supposed get a hard freeze tonight, so it's time to store the flip flops for a few more months.
Hope all is well for those that are getting much worse weather than we are right now. No precip here, just cold.

I am not a fan of cold weather here in Texas, I like the spring and fall. I am no longer interested in snow skiing so Colorado is out. But the Crappie are biting here. I just need to dress out and go.

Starting to get the fever....fresh, lively maggots in the fridge, an order of tungsten goodies on the way, and researching a new flasher. Bring on the cold!
